About Congruent Practice
A home for therapists who want deeper alignment in themselves, their work, and their practice
About Congruent Practice
Congruent Practice was created for therapists who are ready to reconnect with the deeper layers of their clinical presence, their leadership, and their professional identity. Whether you’re in solo private practice, lead a group practice, or continue to see clients while managing a team, your work asks a lot of you.
Why we exist
Because your inner world shapes your clinical work, your boundaries, and your practice.
Congruent Practice was founded on a simple truth: therapy is most effective when the therapist is aligned — internally, clinically, and professionally.
Our retreats support congruence at three interconnected levels:
1. Congruence within yourself
Your values, needs, boundaries, beliefs, and inner clarity.
2. Congruence within your clinical work
Your presence in the room, your energy, your ethical grounding, and the way your patterns show up in therapy.
3. Congruence within your practice
Whether you’re a solo practitioner or a group practice owner, the culture, decisions, systems, and leadership in your practice reflect what’s happening internally.
These layers interact. When one shifts, the others follow.
Our retreats give you the space, support, and tools to explore all three.
Our Approach
Soulful + structured. Intuitive + practical. Deeply human.
Congruent Practice retreats blend experiential learning, reflective exercises, gentle embodiment, and systemic wisdom. We draw on the depth of the Satir Model, trauma-informed practice, and years of clinical and leadership experience.
You’ll find a balance of:
guided teachings
personal reflection and journaling
small-group dialogue
grounding practices
time for rest and nature
spaciousness to integrate, not just consume
It’s professional development that nourishes the whole person — the clinician, the leader, and the human being beneath it all.
